Fit
Who we work with.
The method is built for one kind of business. It works well there and badly everywhere else, so it is worth being exact about which is which.
A good fit
- You have a showroom, and homeowners come to it.
- You are between 10 and 40 people.
- You do $3M to $15M a year, on jobs worth $40,000 to $150,000.
- You are design-build: you sell the design and then do the work.
- You sell in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut or Pennsylvania.
- The owner is at the table when marketing gets decided.
Not a fit
- Single-truck operators and one-person handyman businesses.
- National franchises working to a corporate marketing programme.
- Anyone whose model is reselling leads.
- Firms who want leads delivered and nothing changed about what happens after.
- Firms with no showroom. The method is built around the design appointment.
Why we say no.
The Showroom Pipeline is built around a design appointment in a physical showroom, on a three-to-nine-month cycle, sold by an owner or a designer who is in the room. Take any of those away and the method stops describing the business.
A firm with no showroom does not have the stage the whole system is measured against. A franchise cannot change the things we would need to change. A firm whose problem is capacity rather than demand would be made worse by more enquiries, not better.
We would rather say that on a thirty-minute call than six months into an engagement. If you are outside this, we will usually know within the first ten minutes, and we will tell you.
Book a 30-minute diagnostic.
Thirty minutes on your pipeline — where leads come from, how many become kept design appointments, and what happens to a quote after the showroom visit. If we are not a fit, we will say so on the call.
